Orphek does not offer warranty period extension programs.
All Orphek products are warranted for 01 year . During this period we will repair or replace the defective unit or part at our option, providing the following conditions have been met:
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable from the original consumer purchaser. In the event of a limited warranty claim, proof of purchase will be required. If you have purchased your Orphek product from a dealer, local shop or online shop, please contact them directly.
This warranty shall not apply:
- To any damaged Orphek lighting product that has been subjected to accident, misuse, neglect, alteration, improper use or application, improper handling, improper transporting improper storage, improper installation, improper upgrading, improper testing or unauthorized repair, operation outside recommended parameters (as described in the applicable product manual, for example, damage from saltwater spray or heat), power fluctuation or failure, subjection to abnormal physical or electrical stress, use of incompatible products, non-approved power supplies/connections, improper cleaning and use of incompatible cleaning products, or similar circumstances;
- To any Orphek lighting product that has been exposed or submerged to water;
- To cosmetic problems or defects that result from normal wear and tear under ordinary use, and do not affect the performance or use of the product; or
- Acts of Nature.
This warranty applies only to a product that is manufactured by or for Orphek and identified by the Orphek trade name or product identification logo affixed to the product.
This warranty shall not apply if repairs have not been attempted by anyone other than our Customer service staff or any authorized agent or dealer, or under the instruction of our customer service staff. Any attempts at self-repair shall void this limited warranty.
This warranty does not confer rights other than those expressly set out above, and does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage. Orphek shall not be held liable for damage to any aquarium, aquarium life forms, or any other personal objects due to improper use of the device.
This limited warranty does not cover, damage to products incurred in shipping of the product (s). Orphek has chosen carefully its transportation & delivery partners, but sometimes damage may occur for many reasons. In this case you should verify our shipping policies.
Information necessary to claim your warranty:
If you have purchased your product directly from us, contact contact@orphek.com and provide the following information:
Product info: model and serial number, date of purchase, proof of purchase, copy of invoice, proof of delivery in perfect conditions, photos of the damage (good quality & focus), and full description of the damage.
If you have purchased your product from a dealer, local store or online shop – contact them directly for assistance.
Warranty for upgraded Orphek fixtures:
- Warranty is not to be extended when you update your Orphek LED lighting solution to a more updated version. The original warranty date of expiration remains.
- The upgraded kit has its separated warranty of 1 year (unless the country’s laws and regulation set a different guarantee period).
Example: You purchased your Atlantik V4 in 2019 and you have upgraded it in 2022.
- The warranty of your Atlantik V4 still expires at 2020. It is not extended.
- Your upgrade kit components have a separated warranty period, therefore the upgrade kit components warranty expires a year later of the purchase date, in this case presented – 2023.
Warranty for Orphek fixtures with replaced parts:
Replacing parts of your Orphek Lighting solution does not extend its original warranty.
- Warranty is not to be extended when you replace old/damaged part of your Orphek LED lighting solution to a new one. The original warranty date of expiration remains.
- The new replaced parts have their separated warranty of 1 year (unless the country’s laws and regulation set a different guarantee period).

Orphek will not be held responsible for damages occurring outside the valid warranty period, but we will be happy to try to help you if possible. Contact us for an evaluation of the damage, possibility of rendering assistance and price quotation of repair/replace parts (if possible).
If you have purchased your Orphek product from a dealer, local shop or online shop, please contact them directly and check how they can help you.
If you have purchased your product directly from us, contact contact@orphek.com with the same information that should be provided within the valid warranty period and we will be happy to try to help you.
Damage during shipping
Orphek will not be held responsible for damages occurring during the shipment and delivery of its products and it will not accept to returns or refunds. Please check our shipping policies for further information and the information below (in bold letters).
ORPHEK HAS CHOSEN CAREFULLY ITS PARTNERS AND RELIED IN THEIR PROFESSIONALISM TO PROVIDE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE IS, BUT ORPHEK WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MISINFORMATION RECEIVED BY CLIENTS CONCERNING ITS PRODUCTS, IF GIVEN FROM A THIRD PARTY (DEALERS, LOCAL SHOPS, ONLINE SHOPS). IF THE DAMAGE RESULTED FROM THIS MISINFORMATION, CONTACT THE SALESPERSON DIRECTLY.
ORPHEK DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW. NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR MERCHANTABILITY SHALL APPLY EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW. ORPHEK DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PERSON OR BUSINESS ENTITY, INCLUDING ITS AUTHORIZED DEALERS, TO CREATE FOR IT ANY OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES, OR OTHER WARRANTIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PRODUCT.
ALL WARRANTIES ARE VOID IF THERE IS DAMAGE TO THE ORPHEK LIGHTING PRODUCT THAT IS NOT A RESULT OF A DEFECT IN THE MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP. THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ALL CLAIMS THAT YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THIS PRODUCT, WHETHER MADE OR SUFFERED BY YOU OR ANOTHER PERSON AND WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT OR TORT, SHALL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT WILL ORPHEK BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY OF TO USE THE PRODUCT (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF INFORMATION OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS, DAMAGE TO YOUR AQUARIUM OR ANY AQUARIUM INHABITANTS), OR FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, EVEN IF ORPHEK HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO CASE SHALL ORPHEK LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.
ORPHEK PROVIDES COSTUMIZATION LED RATIOS FOR ALL ITS CLIENTS UPON REQUEST. ANY COSTUMIZATION MADE FOR THE CLIENT WITH CLIENT’S AUTHORIZATION WILL NOT BE OBJECT OF ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE RESULTS OF THE COSTUMIZATION ITSELF. ANY COSTUMIZATION ADVISED BY ANY OTHER PARTY RATHER THAN ORPHEK’S CEO WILL NOT BE OBJECT OF ANY KIND OF CLAIM ARISING FROM THE RESULTS OF THE COSTUMIZATION ITSELF.

It is very important to remember that by placing an order or making a purchase at Orphek not only you are an awesome reefer, but you also agree to the terms and conditions of our Policies and Terms.
We think that we have designed what we believe to be an amazing product and we did our best to provide a high quality service but, if you need to cancel an item, we are here to help understand the conditions and the entire process.
There are a few important things to keep in mind when asking for a refund of a purchase you made from us, so we invite you to review the following terms related to getting a refund.
Orphek gives free shipping with Door to Door worldwide Air Express Delivery therefore there are no refunds of shipping cost or fees.
CHANGING OR CANCELLING YOUR ORDER:

If you have made a mistake in your order and wishes to change it or even to cancel it, you need to contact us immediately.

RETURNS
Orphek gives free shipping with Door to Door worldwide Air Express Delivery and it is quite expensive, therefore, as said before, Orphek operates a No Return Policy.
Unfortunately, orders that have been already shipped cannot be cancelled, refunded or returned.

Shipping Policies
Processing order for shipping
All orders are processed within 3 to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Since Orphek offers free shipping, it chooses which carrier will deliver the shipment according to many factors such as quality of service provided, prices, delivery timing etc…
Some of our shipments require a signature. A Shipment Notification email or text message via cell phone (provided by the buyer) will inform whether a signature is required. The carrier may also require a signature at their discretion. The carrier may make subsequent delivery attempts before returning the shipment to Orphek.
IMPORTANT:
Once your order has been prepared for shipment or has been shipped, Orphek is unable to change the shipping address.

Buyer responsibility
Buyer is fully responsible for the information provided when shopping for Orphek products. Please kindly double check if you have provided the correct address for shipping/delivery.
As mentioned above, once your order has been prepared for shipment or has been shipped, Orphek is unable to change the shipping address. Orphek will not refund nor will ship a new product if the original product (s) purchased was (were) delivered to the address incorrectly provided by the buyer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at contact@orphek.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Delay in shipping & delivery
Please notice that due to this pandemic, both lockdowns and slowdowns, or any other national or regional emergencies might cause delays in shipping and deliveries.
Since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond Orphek’s control once it leaves our facilities, Orphek cannot be held liable for late deliveries.
We will, however, work with you to ensure a smooth delivery.
You may also have to contact the logistic (fright company) directly by providing all the information requested by them.
If you have purchased Orphek products via dealers, local shops or online shops, contact them if you have unsuccessfully received information from the carrier company.

Missing or lost packages
In case of any problems with your delivery, Orphek will help you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible with as little inconvenience to you. Please contact us for customer assistance.

Customs , duties & taxes
Orphek does not operate Customs brokerage services, and it will not be held responsible for the customs clearance of the products purchased by its clients. It is the client’s obligation to check for the local customs legislation, duties, import Vat, etc.
Orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees charged by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are imposed once a shipment reaches the buyers country.
Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the buyer; Orphek has no control over these charges, nor can Orphek predict what they may be, therefore it is not responsible for these charges.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Orphek does not and will not operate as a representative or contact point of the clients towards the authorities if any product purchased will be held in custody of customs.

- Inspect your package on arrival for any severe damage that may have occurred during shipment.
- Contact the local shipping company immediately.

It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear, however, if damage has occurred to your item(s):It is essential that you retain the shipping box, packing material and the damaged items for inspection by the carrier company.
Have all the information about the purchased product, including its shipping tracking number at hand when you contact the carrier.
