Orphek Universal Fixing Brackets Kit is made of high quality Aluminium alloy, therefore it will never rust even in contact with salted water or in extreme salted humidity environments!
It is important to know that the black color of Orphek Universal Fixing Brackets Kit is not in fact color. We are using electric anodized Aluminium alloy.
What does it mean?
Anodizing is an electrolytic process for producing thick oxide coatings, usually on Aluminium and its alloys. The oxide layer is typically 5 to 30µm in thickness and is used to give improved surface resistance to wear and corrosion, or as a decorative layer. This process artificially changes the structure of aluminum oxide on the surface of the metal, therefore it provides a surface finish that is more durable, stain-resistant, and corrosion-resistant.
